There were two types of puzzles produced: water and land. The water puzzle is a compilation of water animals: the killer whale, salmon, crab, frog, beaver and seal. Each piece is nestled in a outlined shape with the name of each creature under the puzzle piece. The Land Puzzle is a sample of the land animals: the wolf, bear, cougar and deer. This is an easier puzzle than the water puzzle, because it has four larger pieces were the other has six various sized pieces. The colours are reflective of their themes. These puzzles are learning aids to the basic designs of the Northwest Coast art form.
